🏅 Canon 6D Mark Ii Focus Issues

I always worked with Nikon with no problem. Then I decided to give Canon a try and bought recently a Canon 6D Mark II. Honestly, I'm SO disappointed. The camera doesn't focus well at all, I'm working with a Canon 50mm 1.8 lens and I simply loose lots of photos which never happened to me with Nikon. Dual Pixel CMOS AF and a DIG!C 7 processer deliver Canon’s fastest & most advanced focus and subject tracking system for live view and movie shooting Shift time Create impressive 4K time-lapse movies in camera - the EOS 6D Mark II can also track auto exposure for each image taken during the time-lapse sequence My 6D Mark ii wasn't consistently focusing with any of my lenses - 2 canon and 1 tamron. I sent it to Canon, the auto-focus mechanism was "out of position" they said. I received it back and it was better; however, it still was never sharp where my focal point was. Kept trying lens adjustments for ba I'm experiencing an issue with focus that I can't figure out if it is a malfunction or wrong settings. Current settings are: ONE SHOT. Manual mode. Center Spot AF . Sometimes, I half-press shutter button to focus on my subject and when I fully press the shutter button, focus unlocks and wait till it focuses again and when is does, shutter is On the side of the lens are three adjustment buttons. 1.stabilizer on/off, 2.af/mf, and 3.20m-Full/infinity. Mine was set to infinity when it should be set at the other setting. This might help 🙂. Recently upgraded to R6 and works great with my Canon 70-200 and Tamron 18-400 lenses. However, I recently purchased the Canon RF 800mm and I am 1. Check AF menu 5, lens drive when AF impossible. I have it on, and it seems to go through the entire length of the focus range before giving up. -- hide signature --. Ed Rizk. One year I was shooting on the Canon 6D and Sigma ART lens, 35 and 50 (Canon 6D is a three years old). Suddenly started having problems with the center focus point. When i focusing, the central point - focus floats, repeatedly rebuilt and hits or misses the target -50/50. I had no issues with focusing until I updated. I have the most issues when using video (I mostly use the RF 70-200mm 2.8). Been using my Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary with my Canon 5D Mk III, Mk iV and 7D Mk II for 4 years now with great results. My main goal for the body upgrade was to get the much improved (so I thought) AF system on the R5/R6 and better ISO performance. Hi everyone, I have an issue with my canon 6D mark II where the view from the viewfinder is blurry but the text shown on the viewfinder Itself is sharp. When the text or focus points show in different parts of the viewfinder’s view, those points show a sharp image. I have an old (20 years old) 70-200mm F2.8 USM EF lens. I just bought a Canon 6D body, and the lens wont auto focus. When I hold the shoot button half way, the lens is just focusing back and forth, and not finding anything to focus on. My other old EF lens 14mm F2.8 EF lens works fine, but the 70-200mm F2.8 is having issues. Obviously the 6D doesn’t have the whiz-bang 61 point autofocus system of the Mark III, which features 41 cross-type points. Instead, it has 11 points, with only one cross-type. Hello, I've recently purchased a 6d. It's a great camera and I love the look it has, but I'm having all sorts of troubles focusing. I mainly do portraits, and that requires me to consitently hit sharp focus on the eyes. For the life of me I can't do that. I'll focus on the eye using the middle autofocus point and then will recompose and take .
