🦪 Audi E Tron Battery Degradation
It's about my Audi A3 2016 sportback hybrid battery warranty of 8 years. I was sending mail to my local dealer (btw I'm the third owner of the car) just to see what procedure with 8 years warranty on hybrid battery goes. In last month my battery range suddenly fall from 35 km's to 25 km's.
When the battery degrades the available battery capacity reduces. This causes a shorter range. If you know how much net capacity your car should have, you can easily check it. This is how you check your battery Charge to 100% Take a drive and at least spend 70% of the battery. Try to keep the consumption low.

I'm sure if I understand your question, but charging from 0 to 80% is not a full charging cycle, it's 4/5 of a cycle, if you charge from 30% to 80% it's half a cycle and so on. One full cycle is when you have discharged a total amount of 100% and charged it back even if you do it over many occasions.
The battery for the Audi e-tron 55/e-tron 60S is totally on 95kWh and with a nominal voltage of 396 volts. It consists of 36 modules with 12 cells each that give a total of 432. The cells in each module are connected in 4p3s configuration. Meaning 4 and 4 cells are grouped in parallel and then connected in serial.
The capacity of the battery is 93.4kWh but the software-managed capacity of the battery pack is 84kWh. So, the software in the car is allowing us to use 89.9% of the battery capacity. If the recommended charge percentage is 80%, that means we are effectively using 67.2% of the physical battery capacity for day-to-day driving.

I’ll check the manual tomorrow. I faintly remember that it was stated as being longer somewhere in the paperwork.
